International Yoga Day is a reminder that we must keep our mental, emotional, spiritual and physical health before anything else. It is necessary to take some time out to nourish and nurture our mind and body with yoga. It helps us to balance our life, mind, body, and soul. Recognizing its universal appeal and the many benefits of practicing yoga in our daily life on a regular basis, our Primary and Secondary students at DRSIS, conducted a Special Assembly to raise awareness about the amazing benefits of Yoga among the students and staff. They practiced a few asanas that can help improve concentration and reduce stress and also made a presentation on how to enjoy the highest standard of physical and mental health. Making it a point to practice it in the assembly ground, not only connected them with nature but also created a sense of oneness among each other.
