Mr. Mr. S.A.M.V Prasada Rao -CEO

Mr. S.A.M.V Prasada Rao is our CEO who is associated with our school from the inception, he is well versed with all the administrative and academic matters for more than 30 years. He trained number of teachers,his students are occupying prestigious positions as IPS,IRS,IAS officers and responsible officers in other organizations like LIC, Banks, Railways, State Government and Central Government. many of his students are doing well in other countries also. He is a good academician, administrative manager and good sportsman.

He gave expertise to a number of schools right from planning to commissioning the schools. He also looks after the DRSIS KIDS a pre-school chain of nearly 70 schools spread across the country. He traveled a lot in India and abroad.

Mrs. Vinoda Ranjan- Admin Manager

With an illustrious career in varied areas of managing the support services of an Institution, Mrs.Vinoda Ranjan joined DRS International School as the Administrative Manager as well as heading all HR operations from the very inception with a prior experience of more than fifteen years in a Multinational company.

Her vast experience and knowledge helped the school acquire the coveted ISO-9001-2000 and ISO -140001 certification.

She is a a source of motivation for all facilitators. A great counselor for the teaching staff, she inspires teachers to put their best foot forward all the time.

Her exuberant energy, infectious enthusiasm and her gift of the gab makes her a very popular and approachable Manager.

Ms.Monalisa Dash - PYP Co-ordinator

A literature student, autonomous learner, dilettante, pragmatist, Odissi dancer, a self-confessed wordholic, passionate about Ideology, classical music and literature.

She has completed her PhD in English Literature. Did her masters in English Literature after completing her graduation with honours in English literature from Jyoti Vihar University, Orissa

Her passion and love for children made her join the field of education. She has wide knowledge about PYP methodology and her innovative ideas have brought laurels and accolades to the institution.

Her thesis on “The sacred and the profane” based on Oscar wilde novel “The importance of being Earnest” was awarded a gold medal in Jyoti Vihar University. She was also awarded the Jyoti ratna medal in Jyoti Vihar university for completing her PhD within the shortest tenure of three years. Presently she is working on her post doctorate thesis based on Arudhati Roy’s novels

Ms Rachna Bhattacharjee - Senior Secondary Head

With a commendable academic background and school education in the best convent school for girls in the city of Kanpur, she has worked in schools affiliated to different boards in various cities of India. Her core values are honesty and integrity, punctuality and effective time-management, taking initiatives and with great faith in the power of persuasion.

Mrs. Bhattacharjee has been in the field of school education for more than a decade and a half and has orked in various capacities consisting of teaching at various levels through primary to senior secondary with extensive hands-on experience in all spheres of school academics and administration, development and management of school systems with special emphasis on curriculum development and training of staff.

She has double masters, in Botany from Kanpur University and in Education and International Development from University of London. She has been a scholarship holder of the Association of Commonwealth Universities and had been a best student medal holder through most of her college life

Mrs. Girija Santhosh - IGCSE Coordinator

Zeal towards teaching and strong belief in the values of honesty, commitment and perseverance are the key factors behind her successful career of 11 years in the field of education.

Along with a graduation in Science and a post graduation in English, Mrs. Santhosh is a certificate holder of C2 level – proficient user of the Common European Framework for Languages: Learning, Teaching and Assessment and also has an intensive exposure to various curricula, both national and international.

She believes in guiding the younger generation to be successful global citizens and triumphant individuals.

Ms. Mary - ADMISSIONS CO-ORDINATOR

DRSIS began in 2003 with a relatively small student's number but as the educational standards were bench marked to global standards, the school saw a steady growth in student's number due to lot of efforts from the Admission Coordinator Ms. Mary .

She kept her self update with the global standards of schools around the world and helped DRSIS in promoting and marketing the school. Her past experience in different schools as an Admission coordinator helped her in establishing good relationship with parents and students as well. Ms Mary has been with DRSIS from the inception of school and we are proud to have her build the admission strategies for our school.

MR. RAM KISHORE, IT-HEAD

Mr. Ram Kishore is well known for his tech support carrying a decade of experience in the field of software consultancy and web site maintenance works.

He carries a background as a senior programmer and senior trainer at various schools of IT, Right from the inception of DRSIS he is into training the trainers and senior students while giving innovative IT solutions towards parental /student / staff concerns in carrying their works online.

Mr Bharath Kumar - Sports Coordinator

Mr.Bharat Kumar is a well known sports trainer in DRSIS. He heads the overall Sports and Games with 16 qualified coaches reporting him. He carries twelve years of experience. He has completed MPED,NIS. Under his able guidance DRSIS has successfully completed four Annual Sports Meets and CBSE South Zone Skating and Chess championships.

Virender - Performing arts coordinator

Mr. Verender is professionally trained in Western Music on Piano and Theory of Music from The Royal college of Music London. He heads the overall Performing Art department with 12 proficient facilitators both in music and dance reporting him. He possesses 16 years of experience in the field of Western music and organizing all events as Coordinator. His organizing skills and coordination with the departments which includes IBDP is noteworthy in DRSIS. He completed his post graduation in English as well as eminent in editing and composing Text books in Music for students in DRSIS as an asset. He is specialized in composing and conducting instrumental music, orchestra, duets and solos apart from school choirs. As resource person conducting workshops on music is one of his passions. The Primary & Secondary hobby showcase is well organized under his supervision in DRSIS every year.

Sujana Veeramachaneni - IBDP Assisstant coordinator

Sujana Veeramachaneni is a doctorate in Botany, has master’s degree in Life sciences with specialization in Endocrinology from Sardar Patel University, Gujarat. For her academic excellence she was awarded a Gold medal in M.Sc.

Before joining DRSIS she worked as a production manager in Suvarna Florex Limited, Bangalore for 4 years.

She is well versed in CBSE curriculum having taught for 10 years, also has an experience as an examiner in the same. She is a trained IBDP Biology facilitator teaching DP biology for the past 3 years. At present she is also the assistant coordinator for IBDP.

RatanKumarBose: : Athletic Coach.

Mr.Ratan Kumar Bose coached A.P state Athletic team and produced 1 International medal,15 National madel, 315 state medals.

He had best record of performance of 10.9 sec for 100 m and also best performance in long jump of 6.74 Mts DRS students are being well trained under his able guidance.

V.RavinderKumar, Karate Coach

V.Ravinder Kumar is a highly experienced and well known Martial Arts Professional who has more than three decades of experience in the field of Martial Arts. He is an internationally recognized Karate Instructor and has been conferred Licentiate International Referee.

He is a certified 6th DAN Black Belt certified by KBI International. He is the Founder and Secretary of All Style Martial Arts Organization, Vice President of All India Budokan Karate Federation and Selector of Referees for State and National Championships.

Many students of DRS International school have been successful in winning medals in both national and international tournaments.

Youraj Singh : Cricket Coach

Youraj Singh holds the record for highest number of catches and stumpings as a wicket keeper for Hyderabad in first class matches ( Ranji Trophy) and first wicket keeper batsman to score more than 1000 runs, he has taken more than 100 catches for Hyderabad.

He has passed the level-1 course for coaches conducted by National Cricket Academy, currently he is a selector of Hyderabad state Ranji Trophy team and has coached the Hyderabad state Under-19,Under-22,Uder-17 teams and Under-22 team who have emerged as south zone champions.

P.Ravi Shanker :Archery Coach.

Mr.Ravi Shanker has been 3 times National Senior Archer and 5 times Robin Hood Award for year 1993.1986,1997,1999 and 2007. He was a National Coach for the INDIAN TEAM for 43rd World Archery Championship held at Spain Madrid in the year 2005.

He has produced 8 medals at International Level, 49 Medals at National Level, 203 Medals at state level. At DRS he has helped students to become talent Archers.

Mr.Raja Hrishekesh - Secondary Assisstant coordinator

Mr.Raja Hrishekesh is one of the senior member of the team teaching Mathematics, Computer Science & Physical Sciences with 8 years experience. He was part of Executive committee as Academic head ( DRS Residential). With his proficiency in computer science he is undertaking IT club.

He is a graduate in Mathematics & bachelors degree in Education from Osmania University. He also possess post graduate diploma in software technology & NCC ‘C’ certificate holder from Andhra(1) Air wing. He has attended several workshops that includes PYP introductory workshop, IL&FS education & Intel teach computer program for teaching methodologies. Besides a techno savvy, he also takes part actively in extra curricular activities like cricket , Brain of Andhra etc.

Ms.Prarthana Thakur an enthusiastic, confident, determined and dedicated PYP Asst. Co-coordinator with ten years of experience in teaching. She exhibits in -depth knowledge of PYP and subject content. She has done her graduation (B.sc Applied Nutrition) and Bachelor in education from Osmania University. Post graduate in English literature from Kakatiya University believes in hard work and integrity.

She was excellent in academics throughout her education and has also been awarded as a best teacher in DRSIS for the year 2007- 2008. Passionate and creative in teaching, exhibits proficiency in developing critical thinking among the students in order to take positive action towards the society

Ms Kalyani, Academic coordinator of DRSIS has always worked diligently since the inception of the school . Her constant endeavor has been to go beyond the realm of regular process and strive for surpassing one’s own self. Her diverse qualification is her strength and gives her the insight into the management. A brilliant student of Mathematics she took up MBA to learn people management. She attended IB DP Coordinator & PYP Coordinator’s workshop which gave her the in-depth understanding of the nitty-gritty’s of IB functioning. Her focus has always been to reinvent herself and the institute, moving beyond what she does supremely well and taking on new challenges that are not her core competency.

Her dedication and sincerity has won her accolade not only among the staff and students but the parents also respect her for her untiring devotion and passion towards her profession.
