Project Feasibility Analysis

Introduction:
The primary requirement for setting up an international school requires a project feasibility study which indicates the true potential for such an endeavour.

Market survey:
There is a growing demand for schools which offer the international curriculum, especially in metros where the demand for quality education is high.

Technical Study:
Due to the proliferation of  more and more technical institutions indicates that there is ample scope for institutions which integrate quality education with human resource.

Ecological Analysis :
The site for the building and the environment are first surveyed and then the plans for a temperature controlled environment drawn out. The focus remains on creating an environment which enhances comfort and encourages learning.

Financial Guidelines:
The success of the school project will be determined by the key factors like price / cost of the land, construction and structural cost etc. Other factors which determine the success of the project are the commitment of the management and a timely plan of execution.
Due to the prohibitive cost land within the city limits, it is suggested that land be acquired on the outskirts and the responsibility of building delegated to a reputed contractor and architect.

Financial Strength/Soundness:
The financial outlay depends on various aspects such as the number of students, gross built-up area, structural design etc.

The investment cost includes:
a)  School land area cost

(b) Construction of School Building cost
(c) Infrastructure  cost of school equipment and fittings

(d) Pre-operative expenses (Project preparation & Technical       expenses)
(e) Academic expenses (Collaboration fee, Recognition fee , etc.)
(f) Operative expenses (Salaries ,Taxes, Electricity , Water , etc)     Considering all the above expenses, the minimum break even     would mean a collective strength of 250 students.
