Our students of Grade XII attended a guest lecture by the University of EPAC, Switzerland. The gist of the lecture was study prospects in video game development, especially in conjunction with computer science technology. Other topics the students explored through the lecture were programming, artificial intelligence, virtual reality and 3D concepts. Our students even learned some techniques in designing video games using zbrush- digital sculpting tools.
Yet another learning outcome from this guest lecture was the students’ introduction to designing Character/Creature Modeling, concept/ drawing/ sketching from the start to the end of this process using this technology. They also got an opportunity to look into many models sculpted at this university that have been utilized in many games and movies. Our students were also invited to be a part of their summer school programme in August 2019, where Ran Manolov, a leading Modeler is being invited as a guest speaker.
