Countries have special features that distinguish them from other countries! In pursuit of this big idea, our thinkers of Grade III are inquiring about countries around the world and what makes them distinct. In this connection, they were thrilled to be joined by Mr Daniel, from Ghana who agreed to be their go-to-resource person to learn all about the African sub-continent and especially his country of origin, Ghana.
The session was a great opportunity for students to explore the culture and traditions that make Ghana unique, as well as its different landforms, traditional attire, games, ornaments, food and dance forms. The session concluded with a lively round of African dance that Mr Daniel was gracious enough to lead, making this learning experience a lively and memorable one!
